Prof. Xiaojiang Du, Temple University, USA

Biography: Dr. Xiaojiang (James) Du is a tenured Full Professor and the Director of the Security And Networking (SAN) Lab in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. Dr. Du received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (Automation Department) from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2002 and 2003, respectively. His research interests are security, wireless networks, and systems. He has authored over 300 journal and conference papers in these areas, as well as a book published by Springer. Dr. Du has been awarded more than 6 million US dollars research grants from the US National Science Foundation (NSF), Army Research Office, Air Force Research Lab, NASA, the State of Pennsylvania, and Amazon. He won the best paper award at IEEE GLOBECOM 2014 and the best poster runner-up award at the ACM MobiHoc 2014. He serves on the editorial boards of two international journals. Dr. Du served as the lead Chair of the Communication and Information Security Symposium of the IEEE International Communication Conference (ICC) 2015, and a Co-Chair of Mobile and Wireless Networks Track of IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) 2015. He is (was) a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member of several premier ACM/IEEE conferences such as INFOCOM (2007 - 2019), IM, NOMS, ICC, GLOBECOM, WCNC, BroadNet, and IPCCC. Dr. Du is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Life Member of ACM.


A. Prof. Gang Li, Deakin University, Australia

Biography: Gang Li, IEEE senior member, received his Ph.D. in computer science in 2005. He joined the School of Information Technology at Deakin University (Australia) as an associate lecturer (2004-2006), lecturer (2007-2011), senior lecturer (2012-2016).  His research interests are in the area of data mining, machine learning, and business intelligence.He serves on the IEEE Data Mining and Big Data Analytics Technical Committee (2017-2018 Vice Chair), and IEEE Enterprise Information Systems Technical Committee, IEEE Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Technical Committee, and serves as vice-chair for IEEE Task force on Educational Data Mining.He acts as an associate editor for IEEE Access (IEEE), Journal of Travel Research (Sage), Decision Support Systems (Elsevier) and Information Discovery & Delivery (Emerald), and Human-Centric Computing and Information Sciences (Springer) etc. He has been the guest editor for IEEE Access, the Chinese Journal of Computer, Journal of Networks, Future Generation Computer Systems (Elsevier), Concurrency and Computation: Practise and Experience (Wiley) and Enterprise Information Systems (Taylor&Francis).He has co-authored 7 papers that won best paper prizes, including IFITT Journal Paper of the Year (2017, 1st prize), IEEE Trustcom 2016 best student paper award, Journal Paper of the Year (2015, 3rd award) from IFITT,  the PAKDD2014 best student paper award, ACM/IEEE ASONAM2012 best paper award, the 2007 Nightingale Prize by Springer journal Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing. He has also conducted research projects on tourism and hospitality management. He served on the Program Committee for over 120 international conferences in artificial intelligence, data mining, machine learning, tourism and hospitality management, and is a regular reviewer for International Journals in the areas of data science, privacy protection, recommendation system, and business intelligence.


Prof. Zhaoquan Gu, Guangzhou University, China

Biography: Zhaoquan Gu, professor of institute of advanced technology in cyberspace of guangzhou university, graduated from computer science experimental class (yao class) of tsinghua university, doctor of institute of interdisciplinary information of tsinghua university, postdoctoral fellow of tsinghua university and university of Hong Kong, and was elected as director of big data and security research institute of guangzhou university. He has won yao class scholarship, outstanding doctoral student of tsinghua university, outstanding doctoral dissertation of tsinghua university, outstanding graduate of Beijing, Microsoft scholar nomination, scholar of xiangjiang and other titles. Research interests include: big data and artificial intelligence, network science, distributed computing, etc., published more than 40 international flagship conferences and journal papers, published a monograph on distributed computing, and was selected into the 2018 influential publications collection of Springer China, an internationally renowned technology publishing platform.
